The most requested Mithras Candle color ever - this Purple is an absolute Dream. The hue of this beeswax is a rich and sparkling amethyst when molten, violet in shadow and hints of lavender in direct light. The color is achieved from a mix of vegetable oil based-pigments and naturally-filtered ivory wax from New York state. When molten, it has fragrant alpine notes (think crisp mountain air and flowers) in addition to the honeyed scent.

The Chrysalis series of lights make an excellent gateway into the hand-dripped realm. These narrow pillars are poured and finished by hand in our signature byzantine dripped style, giving the lights an ancient look and feel. The small 4.5” tall Chrysalis I pillar is a popular and versatile light with a burn time of about 40-50 hours. The taller 6.5” Chrysalis II is a must have in any serious candle user's repertoire with a burn time of around 70-80 hours. The beeswax is dyed purple using a vegetable-based dye.
