These pillars are poured from metal molds and then finished by hand. They provide the same quality of light as our flagship hand-dripped series but with a smooth exterior for those who desire a simpler look. The beeswax is dyed black using a vegetable-based dye that is safe to burn.

Lux Aurea candles are pure beeswax candles finished by hand with 24k (99.99%) pure gold double leaf.
This is a 4”×4” pyramid candle with a burn time of approximately 40 hours.
The base beeswax color is your choice of natural yellow that blends with the metallic gold leaf, or black - which provides a dramatic contrast to the metallic gold leaf.
The precious element of Gold is forged in the explosions of dying stars (supernova) and travels to Earth in meteorites. In both the material and spiritual realms - gold is absolutely superb.
As a metal it is stunningly beautiful: warm and reflective, extremely dense yet malleable - resistant to corrosion, oxidation and an excellent conductor.
